Nanoparticles reduce the amount of reflected sunshine, capturing more light and energy production. Solar panels remain like new by becoming self-cleaning, protecting solar cells against moisture, dust and UV radiation.
Photocatalytic Nanomaterials passively clean the surface of the panels. This allows less fouling over time, reduces the amount of cleaning required and reduces loss of energy production. NanoSealer protects solar cells from environmental factors like moisture, dust, and UV radiation, providing longevity and prevents reduction in efficiency.
The photocurrent of solar cells coated with two nano particle fusion (double layer coating) was markedly improved, with an increase of 29% in the average photocurrent at 300–800 nm. The coating exhibited excellent anti-reflection, with the average reflectivity of the coated sample being 5.29% in the 400–1100 nm wavelength band, which is 24.97% lower than that of the uncoated sample.
Using a 3rd Nanoparticle in our Nanofusion, down converts phosphors to enhance solar cell sensitization, light scattering, anti-reflectivity, and stability.
